Endless sound is a protype for a rhythm game that utilizes Artificial Intelligence to create the music. I was part of a team of 4 who worked together over the course of 3 weeks. Our goal was have a rhythm game that could create endless content. We used the Unity Engine and combined it with Pure Data - an open source visual programming language so we could create pitches from our code. We used our music theory knowledge to create an AI that could produce variety in musical rhythm while avoiding dissonant chords.

Finding Nouv is a short browser platform game created with the framework Phaser and Javascript. It follows a young girl Nouv, as she fights her apathetic tendancies and negative emotions in her search to find herself. I worked on a team of 3 who's objective was to create a game that reflected aspects of depression. We tried to convey this by focusing on color palettes and music that transitions from monochromatic to bright and playful.

Mister X is a card game prototype that was inspired by a mod me and 2 friends made for the card game Love Letter by Seiji Kanai. In this varient of the game players begin the game holding 3 cards instead of 1. Cards now represent hit points and played card effects have been altered work on a player's entire hand. Players who lose all their cards are out of the game. Additionally entirely new cards have been added to the deck such as the Magician and Mister X and some older cards have been modified to fit the new system.

Love Struck is a card game that plays on the Japanese trope "Yandere" which is an individual who will go to outrageous ends to gain their target of love's affection. If they are unable to obtain affection they will drag everyone down through violent and explosive actions. In this game 3 to 5 players fight over the affection of an NPC (senpai) drawn from a shared deck. Throughout the game players draw from various decks of cards representing ingredients. Players then can use these ingredients to craft recipes on their recipe card(s)to either: gain affection points, sabatoge/eliminate their opponents or kill the target of affection and reset the affection points for all players. The game is won when a player either gets 7 affection points, Kills a target of affection 5 times, or is the last player standing.
